Festivals Celebrated At Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy

Mahasivarathri Jathra
It is an exceptionally major and told celebration in this Devasthanam. Lakhs of travelers from all sides of the State and from different States additionally visit this sanctum amid the Jathra and offer their promises to Lord Raja Rajeshwara. Sanctuary would be opened round the clock amid the Jathra. On Mahasivarathri celebration day, Maha Lingarchana and Lingodbhavakala Mahanyasa Purvaka Eakadasa Rudrabhisekam would be performed in a befitting way in adherence to Vedic Injunction at 6.30 P.M. and midnight separately. The State Government offers Pattu Vastrams to the Presiding god on this celebration day.

Sreerama Navarathrotsavams
Vaisnavate celebration would be performed in this sanctuary. On Navami day, Sri Seetharama Chandra Swamy Varla Kalyanotsavam and Rathotsavam would be performed in a stupendous way and Lakhs of aficionados visit this sanctuary and witness the festivals. Expound courses of action would be made for the accommodation of explorers.

Nitya Annadana Scheme
Devasthanam with a view to providing free and wholesome food to the poor devotees launched Nithyannadana Scheme on Vijaya Dasami day of 1990 and the scheme has become a glorious success and there has been an overwhelming response from the philanthropists in and around Telangana and from NRIs.
