By Road Lepakshi is easily approachable through road via Hindupur. There are several private as well as state-owned buses that connect Hindupur to several major cities of the country. Further, from Hindupur, tourists can opt for either taxi or buses that frequently run to and fro. By Train Hindupur railway station serves as the nearest railways station to Lepakshi. It is located about 12 km from our destination which can be easily covered by taxi available outside the station. By Air The nearest airbase to the Lepakshi Village is Bangalore International Airport which lies at a distance of around 100 km. Being an international airport, it is widely and actively connected with several major cities of the country as well as countries in the Middle East and South East Asia. Taxis are easily available outside the airport till the required destination. Nearest Airport: Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) - 68 kms from Lepakshi.
Madhur Ganapathi Temple is also known as Madur Madanantheswara Siddhi Vinayaka temple. It is one of the famous temples in North Kerala which is 8 km?s away from Kasargod town. It is located in the bank of river Madhuvahini. In front of the temple, Madhuvahini River is flowing and all other sides are surrounded by the paddy fields and coconut trees. The locality of the temple has greenery picturesque which is very natural and makes enthusiasm about the place. The main presiding deity is Lord Shiva.
It is a holy shrine dedicated to Lord Vitthal and his consort Rakhumai. Lord Vithal is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple stands on the banks of the Chandrabhaga River. The main entrance of the temple faces towards the Chandrabhaga river. A tomb of sage Namadev is seen at the entrance.
