Other Temples

1. Vriddha mallikarjuna swamy: 
Lord Shiva appeared as an old man in-front of Chandravati to test her devotion. Chandravati accepted the old Shiva to get married. Shiva was pleased and married her in the form of Mallikarjuna. This Shiva linga is present in the North-East corner of Mallikarjuna swamy temple, behind Triphala vriksha. Daily Rudra yaga is conducted in a hall in-front of this temple. A Sahasra linga, believed to be consecrated by Lord Sri Rama, is present near by Vriddha Mallikarjuna. 

2. Triphala Vriksha: 
This is the co-existance of three sacred trees belonging to Ficus species. They are Asvattha (Ravi), Udambara (Medi) and Plaksha (Juvvi). The Great Rishi Agastya is present under this tree in hidden form. Once, Sri Guru Dattatreya too appeared under this tree. 

3. Addala Mandapam: 
This is an interesting place with mirrors all around it's inner walls. In the center of the room there is a cradle with the small idols of Lord mallikarjuna and Bhramaramba. 

4. Kurma Peetham: 
It is present behind Addala mandapam, under a sacred Amla tree.

5. Raja-Rajeswara Swamy Temple: 
It is present beside Kurma peetham. A temple of Raja-rajeswari devi is also present here.

6. Sanagala Basavanna: 
Sanagala Basavanna is a big Nandi present in-front of Mallikarjuna swamy. He is worshiped by offering Sanagalu (Bengal gram), by which his name came.

7. Veera Siro Mandapam: 
It is present between Mallikarjuna swamy and Sanagala Basavanna. This is the place where Veera Shaiva devotees sacrificed their hands, legs, tongues, and even heads to attain Shiva rupa.

8. Manohara Kundam: 
There are small wells in Srisailam temple campus, called as Kundams. Manohara kundam is the most important out of them as the water of this Kundam is used for Shivabhishekam.

9. Sapta Matrukalu: 
You will find a stone carved with the images of Sapta-matrukalu. It comes after Manohara kundam.

10. Panditaradhya Peetham: 
It is present towards the left in the way to Bhramaramba temple. The successors of Sri Guru Panditaradhya (Incarnation of Lord Mallikarjuna) are maintaining this. It is very important to Veera Shaiva devotees, coming from Karnataka.

11. Lopamudra: 
Jaganmatru rupini, wife of Agastya maharshi, Lopamudra is present in the temple campus of Bhramaramba. She is beside the carvings of Maha saraswati, Maha lakshmi, Maha kali.

12. Chandi Yaga Shala: 
It is present beside Karaveera vriksha which comes towards left, while returning from Bhramaramba temple to Mallikarjuna swamy temple. Daily Chandi yaga is conducted here.

13. Kumara Swamy: 
Son of Lord Mallikarjuna and Bhramaramba devi, by the grace of whom we are lucky to get a Jyotirlinga and a Shaktipeetha at Srisailam.

14. Akka Maha Devi & Hema Reddy Mallamma: 
Two great devotees of Lord Mallikarjuna, present in the North-West corner of the Srisailam temple.

15. Uma Maheswara Swamy Temple: 
It is present in the Northern side of the temple.

16. Veera Bhadra Swamy: 
The temple of Lord Veera bhadra is present beside Mallikarjuna swamy temple towards North. A Pashupata yantra, collected from Vibhuti matham, is present here. Vibhuti made up of Rudra yaga and Chandi yaga placed on it. Pancha pandava Lingas are present behind Veerabhadra Swamy.

17. Ardha Naareeswari: 
A temple of Uma devi / Ardha Naareswari is present beside Mallikarjuna swamy temple. It is a very very important temple. Uma devi is the second the wife of Lord Mallikarjuna. Every year Shiva kalyanam will be conducted on Shiva ratri with Uma devi.

18. Sarswati Kundam: 
It is present beside Veera bhadra temple. and considered as the appearence of holy river Saraswati in Srisailam. You can see the shadow of Alaya sikhara in this. 

Other Places of Interest
Srisailam Dam is built on the Krishna River and is 512 m long. It is set amidst beautiful natural scenery - ghats, cliffs, craggy ridges, plateaus and dense forests. It has twelve crest gates to hold a maximum water level of 885 ft (270 m). It has a live storage of 274 thousand million cubic feet. This reservoir was originally designed for hydropower generation only but was later converted to a multi-purpose facility for water supply and irrigation. 

Srisailam Dam Due to the construction of Srisailam Hydro Electric Project across river Krishna, nearly 102 villages in both Kurnool and Mahboobnagar Districts located along the banks of the rivers Krishna, Tungabhadra, Bhavanasi and their tributaries were submerged. 

Srisailam Sanctuary
Srisailam also boasts of one of the largest Tiger Reserves in India. This sanctuary covers an area of 3568 km

The main entrance of the temple faces towards the Chandrabhaga river. A tomb of sage Namadev is seen at the entrance. A shrine of Ganesh is built inside the temple which is followed by a small assembly hall where prayers are performed. After climbing a few steps, devotees can have Mukh darshan of Lord Vittala.
